Important Delivery Update
Maria Sibylla Merian travelled to Suriname in 1699, alone, in her fifties, to paint the insects and plants no European had yet recorded. This dress places her butterfly illustrations at the centre, exactly where she always intended them.
• Flutter sleeves with elasticated smocked neckline
• Placed butterfly and insect illustration on front skirt
• White cotton with blue polka dots
• Multicolour novelty buttons at back

Please follow the care instructions. Always allow your clothing to dry naturally if you can - harsh heating elements can damage fabrics. Garment should be stored in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight. Airing the garment at regular intervals increases its lifespan.
