Our Story

Carnaby is led by craft and grounded in experience shaped by decades of a family working with children’s clothing and a deep respect for how garments are made. It’s clothing shaped by childhood and grounded in craft.

We work with GOTS certified organic fabrics, cottons and linens, chosen for how they feel on a child’s skin and how they hold over time. Our collections are built on a balance of form and feeling, clean silhouettes, a natural palette, thoughtful prints, and subtle work details that reflect Indian roots and an global aesthetic.

My father has spent over 35 years in the trade, building with quiet consistency. I grew up around that rhythm learning without realising, absorbing what mattered: fit, fabric, and feeling. Carnaby brings that world into my own a way to carry something forward, clothes I imagine on my own children. Considered. Crafted and Enduring
At the Heart of Carnaby

From everyday dressing to meaningful milestones, Carnaby and Peher are made to be part of the moments that stay. Whether it’s festive mornings, family gatherings, or the quiet joy of dressing up, our pieces are designed to hold memory softly, beautifully, and with care.

Peher meaning to wear in Sanskrit draws from a time when clothing was made with care and meant to be kept.
Rooted in India’s rich textile traditions, the artisanal collection brings together hand painted prints, block prints, soft muslins, and the quiet strength of natural dyes. These crafts, once woven into everyday life, now find place in clothing made for childhood.
Peher carries echoes of a quieter time when garments were handed down, when dressing held meaning, and when a mother’s clothing became a child’s first memory of dressing up.
It brings Indian luxury into the rhythm of daily life through fabric, form, and feeling. A vertical of Carnaby, Peher reflects our commitment to Indian craft, is textile driven and the timeless rituals of dressing.
